Boring Joan Crawford story. Run of the mill nightmare. Only good part was Joan getting smacked around.

this is the best drama ever filmed regarding the love between an older woman and a younger man. Crawford's best performance of her later years, along with "Sudden Fear", and "Baby Jane". Please also note the great soundtrack and the very innovative camera work on this film. And for Crawford camp followers - tune in for her long monologue to Vera Miles and Lorne Greene! Cliff Robertson, in his first film of any importance, is excellent, and hot, hot, hot. A must see.
