Very good movie with Dale Robertson and Walter Brennan. Given the age of the movie, copy is good (probably would be better with a remaster from the studio). Would definitely buy again from Zeus.

Per his deceased wife's request, a young father (Dale Robertson) returns to his old farm in Texas with his two young sons and their grandpa (Walter Brennan). To raise money to pay off his mortgage, he accepts a job offer on the ranch next to his property (the rancher played by Richard Boone). He unexpectedly finds love with the rancher's sister-in-law (Joanne Dru). In the meantime, there is great interaction between the two young boys and their grandpa, who teaches them an important lesson about life and love.
This is a really good movie with good acting. I am a fan of Dale Robertson and think he was just fine in this movie. He has great expressions and mannerisms. You'll enjoy this movie.

Never a great fan of Dale Robertson, but this was proberly his best movie.
The movie its self is is very good and close to the wonderful book,Joanne Dru is as usual beautiful, Brennan and Boone are fine supporting actors and help to create a photo play although never going to win oscars will provide an afternoon or evening of entertainment where it will be difficult to keep a dry eye.
