Entertaining musical version of the story of the poet/rogue leading a rebellion against the King of France. Remade, without music, as "If I Were King" in 1938, this version is still fun to watch, with nice songs and enjoyable performances. For a film close to 90 years old, hats off to Zeus DVD's for the film and sound quality of this film. Excellent job on their account.
