    Wessex Tales was a 1973 BBC TV adaptation of six Thomas Hardy short stories. The double DVD was not released in the US and was only available in Region 2 format from overseas. The Zeus DVDs are formatted for Region 1 and are an exact replica of the original series. They come with English subtitles for the hard of hearing. They are also reasonably priced.
