A cute family tale for normal families to watch together during or after supper. This is the first appearance of William Shatner as a young man of a family whose the father is played by Raymond Massey. Typical American story, the kind of scheme we all have seen a billion times in classic movies all over the decades. Daniel Petrie directed and I am not surprised, as this is the perfect scheme for him, more than a crime flick for instance. Raymond Massey is very comfortable in this role of a family chief.
