Excellent print. Bob Hope is excellent in this semi dramatic part.

Bob Hope was excellent in a non-comedy role. The story was entertaining and reflected the flamboyant times in NY prior to the depression and the corruption and political lack of integrity that was so prevalent. Zeus did a good job in the quality of this old film.

Bob Hope gives an outstanding portrayal of the flamboyant Mayor of the City of New York City In the 20's era.
A frequenter of Broadway theater and nightclubs.
His administration was marred by corruption.
But the man was still lovable to all.
SAw the movie years ago and we liked it so much, we just had to have it.

Beau James is a pretty close portrayal of the playboy Mayor of New York in the roarding 20s...Jimmy Walker. Bob Hope gives the movie class and light touches of humor. A must see for any fan of history in general and the roaring 20s and early 30s in particular.
