A musical comedy about two young Germans living in South America as farmers. Suffering from loneliness, they seek penpals from the Fatherland. A perky employee in a travel agency in Hamburg answers them both. She tells one she’s rich; to the other, she represents herself under a friend’s name, who knows nothing about the whole sordid affair and who is already engaged. Things get a bit sticky when the two men visit Germany and realize they’ve got the hots for the “two” ladies.
