Another good movie for Joan Blondell's personality to shine In. If your familiar with her work, this Is another one to see. Like a lot of actors in the 30's and 40's movies were allowed to shine their unique personalities, and Joan Blondell was also one whose unique attraction made people love to come back and see some more. That's what was allowed to sell in those days. This Is also a good movie cause Melvyn Douglas and her work well together.

This is arguably one of Joan Blondell's best films. Her onscreen chemistry with Melvyn Douglas is subtle at first, but by the end of the film you are rooting for him and Joan.
