Seductive Day-Dreams and Eroticism That Wins Won over by Film's End

Much has been said about this peculiar "cult" film and its exquisite sensuality and downright (in places) erotica (homoerotica at that). I always have had some curiosity to view this home-made movie over the years, one that transcends what one would expect to be crushing limitations, but which triumps artistically, instead, in making the most of the resources to which one had access.

Bobby Kendall (pseud.) is sexier than he or most viewers seeing him in a less sensuous context than this film about a teen male prostitute and his fantasies would expect. His incipient male beauty and carnal assets, however, blossom in the "hot-house" atmosophere of the movie. As the film progresses, Kendall's nudity becomes fuller and more explicit and, indeed, Bobby Kendall looks ever more delectably appealing as the film draws him and his looks out to their maximum.

This is a very strange, phantasmagoric motion picture, but it is unique, even compared to some of Kenneth Anger's lusher films and videos. It is well worth viewing for art students and for many men of gay sensibility. There is some grittiness in this restoration, but it does not affect importantly the visual splendour of the movie's images, so, be glad to have it!
