Although the plot of the movie was strange,
the actors did the best job that could be expected.
Ida Lupino was a convincing, and nervous widow.
Edmund Purdom was a handsome but a totally crazy
intruder into the lives of this grieving family!
Carl Benton Reid, who played with Purdom in 3 previous films, is very convincing as the grieving father of Purdom's friend. The children were totally charming and believable. This film is worth watching.
