Director Adrian Lyne sits down for an interview and covers films like FLASHDANCE, 9 1/2 WEEKS, FATAL ATTRACTION, JACOB'S LADDER, INDECENT PROPOSAL and the controversial LOLITA remake. Lyne is interviewed about all these films as well as some of his cast members including Woody Harrelson, Danny Aiello, Anne Archer, Jennifer Beals, Jeremy Irons, Tim Robbins, Sally Kellerman and Frank Langella. A wide range of topics are discussed including how Lyne originally didn't want to do FLASHDANCE but as he said it's probably not smart to just do nothing and waiting for something to come your way. For 9 1/2 WEEKS he talks about what he wanted from the infamous scene in front of the refrigerator and on FATAL ATTRACTION he said what really drew him to the movie was how anyone watching it would and could relate to one of the three main characters. On INDECENT PROPOSAL he talks about what it was like working with Robert Redford and Demi Moore and what he was going for in the story. Finally, Lyne talks about the various production issues on LOLITA including the fact that the film couldn't get released for several years in America. Fans of the director should really enjoy hearing the stories told here as Lyne has no problem opening up. Some of the most interesting discussion comes on the controversy of LOLITA where the director talks about why the timing of the film was the biggest problem. Even Langella talks about how he knew while making it that it wasn't going to be released in America.
