In this crime drama, a reporter pursues the crime lord in charge of laundering the town's dirty money. The new police commissioner vows to gather enough evidence to capture the head crook, who in turn murders the commissioner. Meanwhile, the intrepid reporter befriends the crime lord's assistant, tricks them both, and almost loses her life. Fortunately, her diligence pays off and she gets her great scoop.

    I rate all ZEUS dvds ***** 5 star. They always arrive on time and I've never had a problem. This particular dvd movie that I just bought was The Final Edition (1932, Columbia) with Pat O'Brien and Mae Clarke. Interesting storyline, great acting and it kept me going to the end. ZEUS has always provided professional, courteous and prompt service and does their best to have the rare movies that I like to see. I really have to recommend them to anyone I know. Many thanks!!!

    I'm surprised this movie about news reporters and hoodlums is not better known, as it is really excellent. Fun, engaging, and suspenseful, as Mae Clarke once again demonstrates that she should have been a much bigger star. A very good supporting cast as well.
