  In this comedy, the great Throckmorton P. Gildersleeve, a famous radio character, finds himself pursued by the local judge's sister who wants to be his bride. His niece and nephew strongly object to the match. Gildersleeve, ever the pleaser, tries to make everybody happy. Mayhem ensues.
