I saw this film on TV several years ago, and I was startled by its originality as a drama and as a thriller. Normally, I don't like John MIlls that much, given his inward drive to remain anonymous, but in this film his low key acting style fits the film nicely, plus we get Joan Greenwood, before she established herself as a hussy in later films--Kind Hearts and Coronets, and Tom Jones. A beautiful reproduction. Thanks Zeus for keeping these films alive.
