A behind the scenes, promotional short about the making of the feature film The Gypsy Moths (1969), which extensively features free fall skydiving. There are interviews with the director, cast members, and members of the professional skydiving crew while on location in Kansas for three months. The crew explain the development of and demonstrate the use of various equipment used in the experimental skydiving, like the helmet camera and batwings, and discuss and perform new stunts for the film. They also discuss shooting problems like the wind and different rates of fall for performers and cameramen. The proper packing of a parachute is also demonstrated in some detail.
